We were driving around looking for lizards (specifically the collared lizard, but they were elusive last summer) when we came upon this little Happy Camper. Yes, he’s perched on a cow carcass. The cow was pretty much mummified by the time we found her but the flies were still pretty thick. We took the picture to send to our adult children with the caption: Are you sorry you missed this?
While I am most certain they are sorry they missed this, if only for the ability to say to their friends, “My parents are so wierd…”
