But my hollyhocks got terrible Hollyhock beetles this year and they ate all the buds and leaves, it looks TERRIBLE!! My mother used to make dolls out of the Hollyhock ladies when she was a child. I too have Hollyhocks, bachelor buttons & snapdragons.

And that I love black-eyed susans. I hated pulling all the flowers, but more than that - I hated the salt grass. (those were the only ones I can remember the names of, there were LOTS at the WMCA house!!) Hmmmmm, maybe....nevermind.... Glad you got them identified!!
